The Newport Shores Community Association (NSCA) hosts its annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Newport Shores Clubhouse, 511 Canal St., Newport Beach.
The neighborhood party runs from 4 to 7 p.m. and includes bottomless pours of beer and wine with every ticket, according to the NSCA website.
Pre-sale pricing is open through Sept. 28 on Eventbrite. NSCA members pay $25 in advance or $35 at the door. Guests pay $35 in advance or $45 at the door. Pre-sale tickets went on sale Sept. 15.
The Viking Truck will be parked on-site selling bratwurst, sausage, hot dogs, chips and water for $10 to $15 per meal. Music and games round out the evening. Oktoberfest costumes are encouraged.
The 440-home Newport Shores community requires wristbands for every person in the event area, adults and children alike. Kids may attend only with a parent. The clubhouse BBQ, volleyball and play areas will close at 1 p.m. on Oct. 3 to make room for the festivities.
Residents who want to volunteer or need more information can reach organizer Tori at 949-378-6200.
The Oktoberfest is the latest in a busy events calendar for the neighborhood association. The NSCA held a July 4 celebration featuring a food truck, carnival games and a raft race.
