Celebrity chefs Geoffrey Zakarian and Scott Conant headline the Relish food festival returning to Newport Beach Oct. 2–4.

Relish, co-founded in 2025 by chef Jamie Gwen and event planner Nicole Hirsty of Cobalt Events, is back for its second year. The three-day food, wine and spirits festival splits its schedule between VEA Newport Beach at 900 Newport Center Drive and The Park Club in Costa Mesa.

Gwen told the Newport Beach Indy in July that the festival's second year would give guests expanded access to its chef lineup.

According to the festival schedule published by Newport Beach Living Magazine, the weekend opens with a cocktail party and grand tasting Friday, Oct. 2, from 5 to 8 p.m. at VEA Newport Beach. A limited-ticket after-hours event follows from 8 to 10 p.m. at the same venue, featuring a meet-and-greet with festival talent.

Saturday's lineup moves between venues. A fashion-and-food luncheon with Zakarian and Conant starts at 11 a.m. at ANQI at Bloomingdale's South Coast Plaza.

The afternoon shifts to The Park Club for a cheese-and-wine session led by fromager Afrim Pristine at 2:30 p.m. and a knife-skills class with Wolfe Cutlery at 3:30 p.m. The day closes with a Culinary Icons Dinner and cocktail hour from 5:30 to 10 p.m., featuring Zakarian, Conant and James Beard Award-winning pastry chef Sherry Yard.

Sunday returns to VEA for a Burgers and Bubbles Brunch from 10 a.m. to noon with Yard and chef Kat Turner, paired with Veuve Clicquot. A wellness retreat wraps the festival from noon to 2:30 p.m.
