Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire will hold its annual black-tie fundraiser at Pendry Newport Beach on Saturday, October 17, with proceeds funding wishes for critically ill children in Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties.

The gala, themed "Art of Wishes," will honor Carie and Anthony Ferry. Volunteer chairs Dolores Salman, Michael Krouse, Lindsey Kath, and Deb Foster are organizing the evening, which will include a live auction, according to the organization's announcement in the Orange County Business Journal.

Since its founding in 1983, the chapter has granted more than 8,400 wishes locally.
