A 5-month-old kitten named Cesar has been waiting at the Newport Beach Animal Shelter since April, and a limited-time discount could help him find a family before summer ends.
The Friends of Newport Beach Animal Shelter, the nonprofit known as FONBAS, is funding half-price adoption fees for all cats and kittens through Aug. 31. The promotion, supported by FONBAS donors, applies to single cats and bonded pairs alike, according to Stu News Newport.
The deadline is Aug. 31.
Cesar is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Shelter staff describe him as a handsome boy with plenty of kitten energy who is always ready to chase a feather toy. He gets along well with other cats, making him a good fit for households with existing pets.
